沟盖板是指在下水道、雨水道等沟壑上面放的盖板，主要目的是为了防止行人、车辆等的安全，有时候也是为了保护沟壑的安全。主要有水泥沟盖、铸铁沟盖及钢格板沟盖三种， 通常情况下沟盖主要采用钢格板沟盖。 广泛应用于市政道路、园林设施、住宅小区、学校、体育场管等不同场所的水沟等。一般采用低碳钢材质或者不锈钢材质， 为了防止沟盖板的表面被腐蚀，通常采用表面可热镀锌处理，有时候也采用喷漆处理。
